Business delegation with Austrian foreign minister on a visit to India

From 15th to 20th February this year, Sunlumo visited India together with an Austrian business delegation.

The group was headed by Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz, WKO President Christoph Leitl, and Karlheinz Kopf, Second President of the National Assembly.
India is among Austria’s top 30 export destinations. From January to November 2015, Austria’s exports to India increased by 15 per cent, totalling more than 630 million euros. Imports from India increased by 11 per cent, to somewhat less than 650 million euros. More than 500 Austrian companies are active on the Indian market, 130 of which with their own branch offices and agencies.
Sunlumo has been present with its own office for four years. The business mission enabled the participants at various meetings with Indian decision makers from politics, business, and science in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai to discuss ways of collaborating and further expanding business relationships and to visit a number of interesting companies. As the only solar heating expert among the business delegation, Sunlumo presented cutting-edge technology and long-standing know-how from Austria.
India has been the most rapidly growing emerging market of the world since 2014. The huge market continues to grow at a very high speeds and purchasing power is equally increasing. India is also the market of the future in terms of renewable energies.
