One World Solar Collector to be presented at Stockholm Design Week

One World Solar Collector listed in the Green Selection 2016. Sunlumo’s innovative product has recently been nominated for the Green Product Award. In addition, our product will be present at the Stockholm Design Week.

Perg/Stockholm, 10 February 2016 – Stockholm Design Week is the world’s largest meeting for global trends. Entirely made of polymeric material, the One World Solar Collector is one of the many innovative creations and novelties to be presented to thousands of interested trade fair visitors from February 9th to 13th in Stockholm this year. The One World Solar Collector has also been nominated for the Green Product Award, an international award for innovative and sustainable designer products and concepts. Submissions must arrive by the end of February 2016 and will be evaluated by an expert jury, including representatives from the design, science, and industry sectors.

Winner of the international audience award to be determined by online voting

Green Product Award submissions will be assessed with regard to certain criteria including design, innovation and sustainability. Products will be judged for originality, feasibility, and relevance. Each category will have two winners, a professional and a newcomer. Student papers will be evaluated in their own category “University”. Submissions for the international audience award will be voted on online from June onwards and the award will be presented in October 2016. Green Selection participants, such as Sunlumo, will additionally be given the opportunity to present their innovation in the main exhibition. The competition was first held in 2014, and projects from more than 25 countries have been handed in so far. Last year, the submitted innovations attracted more than 250,000 visitors to various international trade fairs and design festivals.
