One World Solar Collector Pilot Series Now Running

World-wide novelty given the go-ahead: Sunlumo issues manufacturing licences for solar collector.

Perg, 11 June 2014. – With the pilot series for the One World Solar Collector now running at full stretch. “All equipment, machinery, and tools have been finalized over the last weeks in order to produce the collector components,” Sunlumo CEO Robert Buchinger reports. The next step involves the fine-tuning of individual production batches. The green technology company headquartered in Perg, Upper Austria, recently launched the implementation of the pilot series and closely monitors all production steps. “This phase is extremely important for our R&D team,” the solar-thermal expert explains. Implementing the pilot series means important knowledge about the functioning of processes for the team, leading to further testing schemes on the product and its fitness for mass production. The pilot series is scheduled to run until late summer of this year. The manufactured products will then serve to build and test both roof systems and open-field plants.

Eco-friendly recycling, low-cost production

Sunlumo is currently issuing licences for the roll out of the innovative One World Solar Collector. A fully automatic production plant should yield an annual output of 500,000 collector panels. Sunlumo’s product will be the first-ever solar collector in the volume market to be entirely plastic-based. This makes the innovative collector a great deal lighter than traditional collector panels and thus easier to assemble. Other advantages include its capacity for eco-friendly recycling and low-cost production. Interested investors are welcome to visit the production upon appointment and to receive more detailed information about the product on site.

Withstanding both thermal and climatic impacts

In future, it will be possible to produce plastic-based solar-thermal systems that are more functional, more visually appealing, and above all produced at a lower cost. This world novelty is highly resistant to thermal and climatic impacts. The One World Solar Collector supports both water and room heating systems.
